Wendi was an angel sent from the heavens. I was planning my baby shower and talking to some people who didn't seem reliable. So I was on the hunt for someone I could count on to make my baby shower dreams come true. That is when I came across Weddings by Wendi on my feed and sent her a message. She was quick to respond, provide examples, give her intake and expertise feedback. I have full trust in her and did not stress at all, and boy did she give a beautiful backdrop frame, table set up, and flower centerpieces. I don’t even know where to start. Wendy has truly become a close family member. She made this wedding possible and rescued us when other vendors/venues failed us. South Padre Island should look at Wendy’s quick thinking, organizing, and management skills as a reference. She is South Padre Island. She is the Anna Wintour of weddings planning. Wendy is a blessing and a gift. She made my wife’s wedding perfect and impeccable communication skills and commitment. I can write a whole novel about Wendy and the experience we had with her. My husband and I got married in South Padre in 2021( during covid times) Since we were from Houston, we trusted Weddings By Wendi with all her recommendations for photography, caterer, hair/makeup, etc and couldn't have been happier! On our wedding day a storm rolled in causing us to go from plan A to B but her and her team made sure our special day was perfect even with the unexpected weather! Still think about our wedding everyday!

I cannot thank Wendy enough for everything she did to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. I was in the middle of finishing my finals and incredibly stressed, but Wendy took care of every detail and made the entire planning process so easy and stress-free for me. I have no words to express how grateful I am for Wendi… from day one she has been helpful, sweet and answered any questions or concerns that I had. She made accommodations for my wedding and made sure that my husband and I felt comfortable and happy with how everything was going to turn out, even my dog was able to participate which was a big deal for me. Wendi was an amazing wedding planner, from start to finish. She listened to all of my ideas and details with patience and kindness, and was a blessing to have during our wedding day. The execution of the wedding day was STUNNING!! It blew my expectations out of the water :)

I had never been to South Padre Island and my husband had only been one other time. Neither of us really knew what to expect, but we didn’t expect what we got!! Our guests loved the experience and we’ve had several tell us it was the best wedding they’ve been to!

Dreams do come true! Wendy made it happen for us. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary on December 24th, 2023. Which was amazing!
