For the nightlife, we have many night clubs and hotels that offer DJs, live entertainment, and Karaoke. South Padre Island is well known for its hospitality and superb services.
South Padre Island – Transportation
The Wave is a free shuttle bus on South Padre Island with daily scheduled stops on the Island and to Port Isabel. 956-761-3245. There are many taxi companies to choose from and some hotels do have free shuttle service.

South Padre Island has many fine restaurants. On the Bayside watch a sunset at The Sea Ranch, and many other outdoor establishments. On the Beachside are many smaller restaurants and palapa bars where you can dine, and watch the waves roll in.
South Padre Island – Lodging
South Padre Island offers a variety of accommodations suitable for every taste and budget. The Island has many rental condos and homes that are available. These are great if you plan on longer stay on the island. From the Isla Grande to the Hilton Courtyard and the new Marriot. Many independent hotels and motels have a presence on the Island as well. Smaller bed-and-breakfast style properties offer an elegant Island experience.
