Teresa & Shane got engaged this past October in Bar Harbor, Maine. Shane ate all the lobster he could and Teresa got a beautiful ring he had custom made. A symbol of their unity, the ring is totally unique… a peridot (all the kids birthdays are in August) surrounded by 4 sets of diamonds, representing each child.
Shane and Teresa first met through mutual friends. Teresa finally caved in and said yes to a date with ‘friend of a friend’, throwing caution to the wind. It proved to be the best choice she has ever made.
After discovering a mutual love of travel, iced wine, and action movies… these two introduced each other to their kids. Watching how their kids interacted and grew to love each other, only solidified their desire to blend a family and get married. Shane, agreed to love and cherish 2 teenage boys Nate & Caleb and a new daughter, Aviana who is 10yr old. Teresa, who is clearly winning in this arrangement, adores her future stepdaughter, Olivia who is 11 yrs old.
We couldn’t be more in love or excited to start this new chapter in our lives and we can’t wait to celebrate it with our favorite friends and family.
