Full-service wedding planning involves Wendi from the very start of your engagement — sourcing venues, managing all vendors, building and tracking your budget, directing your design vision, and executing every detail of your wedding day. Day-of coordination begins 4–6 weeks before your wedding date. At that point, Wendi steps in to confirm all vendors, build your master timeline, direct the rehearsal, and manage every detail on your actual wedding day so you and your family can be fully present.
Full-service planning is ideal if you want expert guidance from the very beginning, don't have time to manage the planning yourself, or simply want the most comprehensive, stress-free experience possible. Day-of coordination is perfect if you've enjoyed planning your own wedding and have most details organized, but want a trusted professional to execute everything flawlessly on the actual day. Wendi will help you figure out the right fit in your free consultation — with no pressure either way.
Wendi personally leads every wedding she takes on — you will always be working directly with her, not with assistants or junior planners. For wedding day execution, she works with a trusted team of experienced assistants to ensure every detail is covered from multiple vantage points. This gives you the personal expertise of Wendi combined with the coverage of a small professional team.
Booking & Availability
For full-service wedding planning, booking 12–18 months in advance is ideal, especially for peak-season dates (spring and fall are extremely popular in the Texas Hill Country). For day-of coordination, 6–9 months in advance is recommended to ensure Wendi's availability on your date. That said, she occasionally has openings for closer dates — it's always worth reaching out.
Wendi intentionally limits her bookings each year to ensure every couple receives the full depth of her attention and expertise. She does not overbook — which means she is genuinely invested in your wedding, not rushing between appointments or stretched thin across dozens of events. Because she limits availability, early booking is strongly encouraged.
Your free consultation is a relaxed 30-minute conversation — by phone, video call, or in person — where Wendi gets to know you, your vision, and your wedding details. She'll explain her services, answer all your questions, and offer honest advice on which service best fits your needs. There is absolutely no pressure or obligation.
Areas & Venues
Wendi serves the entire Texas Hill Country region, including Austin, Dripping Springs, San Marcos, New Braunfels, and all surrounding Hill Country areas. She has deep local knowledge across all of these markets — including preferred vendor relationships, venue expertise, and an understanding of local logistics that only comes from years of working in each area.
Absolutely. Venue selection is one of the most important early decisions you'll make, and it's one of the areas where Wendi's local expertise truly shines. She has personally worked at most major Hill Country wedding venues and can give you honest, firsthand assessments. Full-service planning clients receive full venue sourcing and contract review support.
Vendors & Planning Process
Yes to both. Wendi maintains a carefully curated network of preferred vendors — photographers, caterers, florists, bands and DJs, officiants, and more — all personally vetted. She's happy to recommend from this network. At the same time, you are absolutely free to work with vendors of your own choosing. Wendi will coordinate professionally with any licensed, reputable vendor you select.

Wendi has handled virtually every scenario that can arise — from late vendors to sudden weather changes to last-minute timeline shifts — with calm, confident problem-solving. Investment & Pricing
Day-of coordination starts at $1,800 for Essential coverage. Light Setup (including décor placement and styling) is $2,800. Full Setup & Teardown with an assistant team is $3,800. Signature Wedding Management — luxury-level full-service coordination — ranges from $3,800 to $5,500 based on hours. Enhancements including additional assistants ($150–$300), extended hours ($150/hr), ceremony flip ($300–$800), and rehearsal coordination ($250–$500) are available.
Full-service planning through the Signature Wedding Management package ranges from $3,800 to $5,500, with total pricing based on hours and the scope of your wedding. Wendi will provide a precise quote after your free consultation — she never charges more than discussed, and she's transparent about what's included at every tier.
No hidden fees. Wendi is transparent about pricing from the first conversation. The only additions beyond your base package are optional enhancements (additional assistants, extended hours, ceremony flip, rehearsal coordination) that you choose to add. Everything in the base package is included at the quoted price.
Yes — wedding photography with Martin is a separate service, available as a standalone package or bundled with any coordination service. Bundles offer savings compared to booking each separately. Photography packages start at 4 hours for intimate ceremonies and scale to full-day coverage. Ask about bundle pricing on your consultation call.

Yes. Weddings by Wendi offers three weekend micro wedding packages at a ranch with on-site casitas in Dripping Springs, Texas: the Hill Country Micro Wedding Weekend (up to 60 guests), the Intimate Casita Wedding Weekend (up to 40 guests), and the Rehearsal Dinner & Welcome Party Casita Stay (accommodations only). Wendi also plans custom elopements and intimate weddings across the Texas Hill Country.

The Rehearsal Dinner & Welcome Party Casita Stay is an accommodations package at a ranch with on-site casitas in Dripping Springs, Texas. It includes exclusive rental of 11 casitas plus the ranch house for 2 nights (sleeps 51) and one day of use of the pavilion and adjacent grounds for your event, limited to 60 people including casita-registered guests. It is not available for a wedding reception or after-party.

Out-of-State Couples & Planning Timing
Yes. Most planning with Weddings by Wendi can be handled through video calls, email, and digital contract signing. Wendi recommends at least one site visit, ideally two: the first to tour venues and meet key vendors, and the second closer to the wedding for a final walkthrough and rehearsal.
Yes. Wendi serves the Texas Hill Country and is also available for destination weddings throughout Texas and the continental United States. Destination wedding planning includes travel coordination for Wendi and her team.
Spring (March–May) and fall (September–November) are the most popular seasons in the Texas Hill Country, so book 12–18 months ahead for those dates. Winter (December–February) offers lower prices and better vendor availability.
Designate one or two official wedding hotels and coordinate a room block, since most Austin hotels offer group discounts for blocks of 10 or more rooms. For out-of-town guests, Wendi also recommends organizing a shuttle from those hotels directly to the venue.
Getting Legally Married in Texas
To get legally married in Texas, both applicants apply in person at any Texas county clerk's office with valid photo ID, wait 72 hours after the license is issued, hold a ceremony with an authorized officiant, and have the officiant return the signed license to the county clerk for recording. The license is valid for 90 days.

Both applicants bring a valid government-issued photo ID and their Social Security number. If either of you was previously married, bring the county and date of the divorce decree or the date of death of the former spouse. You do not need a birth certificate, proof of residency, or witnesses to apply.
A Texas marriage license typically costs about $82, and the fee varies slightly by county. Texas residents who complete a state premarital education course can have the $60 state portion of the fee waived. Verify the current fee with your county clerk before you go.
Texas has a 72-hour waiting period between the issuance of your license and your ceremony. The waiting period can be waived for active-duty military members with documentation and for couples with a signed waiver from a licensed minister. A license is valid for 90 days after it is issued.
No. You do not need witnesses in Texas, though many couples bring family or friends.
Some Texas counties let you start the application online, but both applicants must still appear in person at the county clerk's office to sign and receive the license.
In Austin, marriage licenses are issued by the Travis County Clerk. Both applicants must appear together in person, and the 72-hour waiting period applies between issuance and your ceremony. Travis County has multiple service centers across Austin (north, south, east, and the main courthouse downtown), and hours vary by location, so check current hours before you go.
Yes. Most courthouse weddings in Texas are performed by a justice of the peace. You still need a marriage license first, and you schedule the ceremony by contacting your county's justice of the peace office.
